Grow with us.
Fleetscape is a young, fast-growing company building the premier air-powered ground cover operator on California’s Central Coast. We hire high-agency people who take ownership, hold a high bar for safety and precision, and want to grow as we scale.
Building something on the Central Coast
Fleetscape brings air-powered ground cover installation to the Central Coast: mulch, decorative bark, playground surfacing, compost, and erosion control, placed with precision and finished in hours, on properties that expect the best. We are early, we are growing fast, and we are expanding our footprint.
We are building this company to a standard the work has rarely been given, and we cannot do it without the right people. We hire for high agency: people who take ownership, figure things out, hold themselves to a high bar, and want to grow into bigger roles as the company grows. And safety is non-negotiable: crew safety, our customers’ property, and the public come before hitting any number. Get in early, do great work, and grow with us.
What we look for
High agency
You take ownership and act without being told twice. You see what needs doing and do it.
Precision and craft
You care how the work looks and how it holds up. Close enough is not good enough.
Hustle and reliability
You show up, you move with purpose, and people can count on you.
Growth mindset
You want to learn, take on more, and build a career, not just clock a shift.
Customer obsession
You represent Fleetscape well on every property and treat clients like the point, not the transaction.
Roll up your sleeves
No ego about the work. You are happy to get your hands dirty and get it done right.

Crew Member
The hands-on backbone of every install. You prep the site, pull and manage the hose while the operator places material, and handle cleanup. No CDL required to start: prove yourself and we put you through company-paid CDL training to become an Operator. It is a real ladder, Crew Member to Operator to Lead Operator, not just a job.
What you’ll do
- Prep and stage the site, equipment, and material.
- Pull and manage the hose while the operator places material.
- Handle cleanup with the air-powered equipment and leave every property spotless.
- Learn the rig and the standard from the operator and crew.
What you need
- A strong work ethic and reliability. This is physical, outdoor work.
- A commitment to working safely around heavy equipment, pressurized hose, and active properties.
- Attention to detail and pride in a clean, finished result.
- A valid driver’s license. A clean record is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- English and Spanish bilingual ability is a plus, not a requirement.
Plus performance bonuses, paid training, and health insurance and PTO as you move to full-time.
Operator
Run the rig and the crew. Operate specialized air-powered equipment most drivers never get to touch, place premium ground cover to spec, and lead the crew on site. Local routes, home every night. Part-time to start, with a full-time and lead-operator path.
What you’ll do
- Operate the truck and air-powered equipment, with full paid training.
- Run the install: place premium material to spec across beds, slopes, and tight spaces.
- Lead the crew on site and keep the job on schedule.
- Complete DOT inspections and vehicle logs.
- Represent Fleetscape professionally on every client site.
What you need
- A valid Class B CDL (Class A welcome) with air brake endorsement.
- Three or more years of CDL experience with a clean driving record.
- A current DOT medical card, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen and FMCSA Clearinghouse check.
- Availability afternoons and weekends to start, and the fitness for hose and material work.
- Ownership of jobsite safety: keeping your crew, the property, and the public safe while you run the rig.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Nice to have: blower, dump truck, or pneumatic equipment experience, a landscaping or construction background, or English and Spanish bilingual ability.
Plus performance bonuses, paid training, and health insurance and PTO as you move to full-time.
